Homemade pizza? Yes please!

Adam made dough this past week and we (K, Adam and I) each decorated our own pizza. It was fun and delicious! We used fresh herbs from the garden, Adam’s fresh tomato sauce, Amish cheese, and local shrimp. It was yummy!ImageImageImage

G is 6 months

Here are G’s 6 month photos. He is such a happy baby; he is very laid back but VERY mobile. He loves to smile and he and K play so well together. Now if we could just get him to sleep through the night……

K all grown up

I double french braided K’s hair one day and she looked so grown up! She definitely knows how to pose for the camera. This is also a picture of an adorable swim suit and the top and bottom actually fit her! Usually she wears a 2T top and 18 month bottoms, even though she is almost 3! We are so blessed by her and her sweet spirit.

Fig preserves

Adam made homemade preserves with figs from trees from his parents, his grandaddy’s and our yard. The result was heavenly! I never knew I liked figs but now we just walk out and pick them and eat them for an afternoon snack. K loves them and Adam made some puree for G. We are fig family!

Adam’s delicious food!

We (well, Adam) are still working on perfecting our soil, so our spring garden didn’t last very long. However, Adam made some yummy food with mostly food he grew or made from scratch. Here are a few pictures.

This is fresh fish that Chris Brown caught one day when he and Adam were fishing together ( I think it was bass). Adam made homeade onion rings with a fresh radish sauce and a tomato puree. It was awesome!!

This was my breakfast the morning of our 9th anniversary; french toast with homeade bread and stewed apples on top. It was yummy.

This was Adam’s lunch he made several days in a row. I am pretty sure all of the veggies came from the garden. Adam has been working on a sourdough starter and the second picture is the result!
